The service
Utilvana offers free online tools that run in your browser. You do not need an account. We may add, change or remove tools at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not use Utilvana in a way that breaks the law or harms others, and do not try to disrupt the site, for example by sending automated requests at high volume. You are responsible for the content you process with the tools: use only text and files you have the right to use.
Results and accuracy
We test our calculations carefully, but results are provided for information only and without warranty. Before relying on a result for a decision with legal, financial, medical, academic or professional consequences, check it against the official source or the rules that apply to you, such as the scoring instructions of a test manual.
Passwords and QR codes are generated on your device. Keeping them safe after you copy or download them is your responsibility.
Intellectual property
The site's text, design, code and the Utilvana name belong to the publisher, unless stated otherwise. Some parts come from third parties under their own licenses, such as the EFF Large Wordlist used for passphrases (Electronic Frontier Foundation, CC BY 3.0) and the open-source libraries the site is built with. The files and text you process remain yours.
Liability
To the extent permitted by Belgian law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damage, loss of data or loss of profit resulting from the use of the site or of a result it produced. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls under the courts of Hainaut, Mons division, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
